GRAPE VARIETY & TERROIR: 100% Grenache on limestone from the Hauterivian.

THE VINES: Estate vines located in Aubais (Gard). Organically and biodynamically farmed (Demeter). Yield 40hl/ha. Vines planted in 1971. Harvested by hand.

WINEMAKING: The grapes are destemmed and infused for one week at 25°C. Fermentation with indigenous yeasts. Aged 16 months in concrete eggs and neutral french oak barrels followed by 4 months in stainless steel tank. Total SO2 < 15 mg/l.

TASTING: The typical delicacy of a short maceration of old-vine Grenache, with notes of raspberry and redcurrant. The very limestone-rich terroir lends beautiful tension to this red!

WHEN TO DRINK: Crisp and fresh red wine that can easily be drank chilled in the summer. Also great with fish dishes.
